Data deletion
You can ask us to delete your personal data from Postvik at any time. Here's exactly how, and what happens once you do.
What you can have deleted
On request, we delete the personal data we hold about you in Postvik. That includes:
- The photos, images and video clips you sent.
- Your post text: captions, drafts, briefs and the messages you sent us.
- Your Telegram identity: your user ID and display name.
- Your Google sign-in details: your Google email and account ID.
- Your job history with us.
- The brand notes you gave us.
- Your account and contact details, and the connections to the social accounts you linked.
For the full list of what we collect and why, see our privacy policy.
How to ask
Email info@vlrnordic.com with the subject Data deletion request. Tell us the Telegram name or the Google email you use with Postvik, so we can find your data.
It helps if the email comes from the address you use with Postvik, or names your Telegram account, so we can confirm the data is yours.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
- We check that the data is yours, so we never delete the wrong person's account.
- We delete your personal data from Postvik within 30 days of a confirmed request.
- We confirm by email once it's done.
Deletion is done by hand by our team; there is no delete button yet. That's why we ask you to email us. The outcome is the same: your data is removed within 30 days.
What's deleted, and what may remain
We delete your personal data from our systems. A few things are worth knowing:
- Posts already published to your social accounts stay on those platforms. Deleting your Postvik data doesn't remove them; you can take them down in Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn; we can't remove them for you.
- Our service providers hold some data under their own terms. OpenAI stores the requests we send it, and its replies, for at least 30 days, and doesn't train its models on them. Outstand, our publishing service, holds the connection to your accounts and the posts it published; we remove the connection from Postvik, and we ask Outstand to delete what it holds for you.
- A small set of records may be kept where the law requires it, such as invoices and tax records, and only for as long as we must.
Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
If you connected an Instagram or Facebook account (Meta), or a LinkedIn account, so Postvik could publish for you, and you want the data from that connection deleted:
- Email us as above, say it concerns your Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn connection, and give your Facebook Page name or Instagram @handle so we can find it.
- We remove the connection from Postvik and delete the content we hold for it within 30 days, and confirm when it's done.
You can also remove the connection yourself at any time. It may be listed under Outstand, the publishing service we use, rather than Postvik:
- Facebook: on the profile you connected with, Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations; remove VLR Nordic Publisher, or Outstand if you connected through it.
- Instagram: Settings and activity, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. If it isn't listed there, it was connected through Facebook: remove it in Facebook.
- LinkedIn: Settings, then Data privacy, then Other applications, then Permitted services.
